Kagadi
The Kagadi Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Caroline Nanshemeza has declined to commission the private wing for Kagadi government hospital over failure of the hospital administrators to produce accountability reports indicating clear reasons for the establishment of the facility.
The hospital management led by the hospital administrator Simon Peter Tumusiime and Medical Superintendent Officer Dr. Julius Birungi together with the office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) had on 2nd April, organised the commissioning ceremony for the private hospital wing.
However, RDC Nanshemeza declined to commission the health facility over failure by Hospital management to present the report stating clearly the funds spent on the new facility and the services that will be provided to the community.
Nanshemeza accused the hospital administrators for deliberately attempting to use her to satisfy their selfish interests.

The commissioning exercise has been postponed to next week after the hospital administrators have fully prepared the accountability reports.
Following the fracas, the hospital administrators declined to speak to the media over the conflicting matter.
