Kagadi& Kibaale district Forest restoration teams have last evening bid farewell to Kamuregeya Christopher who has been the Forest Supervisor for Kangombe for a period of 4years.
Kamuregeya Christopher has been promoted and transferred to be the sector manager for Kisindi in Kikuube district which handlesBugoma forest and he is replaced by Senturo Richard.
Addressing the people who had gathered at king fisher Hotel in Kagadi town for a farewell party on Tuesday 15,Jan,2025, Lillian Ruteraho the Kagadi resident district commissioner challenged Mr. Kamuregeya to continue playing his roles well.
She asked the authorities to cooperate with the newly recruited Kangombe forest supervisor to ease his work.

Basigirenda Boars the range Manager National Forest authority Budongo range commended Kagadi and Kibaale local governments for having supported them when they came to restore Kangombe forest which had been left with 12% in the year 2016.

Kamuregeye the outgoing supervisor expressed his gratitude to those who listened to his message and vacated the forests where they had encroached when he came to serve in 2021 and asked the same to be done to his predecessor.
He says he is leaving after they have demarcated and planted pillars on most parts of Kangombe forest reserve boundaries.
Meanwhile, Senturo Richad the new, Kangombe forest supervisor urged the locals to cooperate with him and avoid fresh encroachments.
