Shock has gripped residents of Gariboreka Sub-County,Kagadi district following the discovery of a-28-year old man who committed suicide by hanging inside his house.
The deceased has been identified as Denis Akiza,a resident of Kyenjojo A in Nyankoma Parish, Gariboreka Sub-County in Kagadi district.
The Kyenjojo A Local council one chairman Moses Tugume says the deceased was last seen earlier on the day while in good health, but telling his friends to check on him at his residence in the evening.
However, the area residents became suspicious of his statements and Saturday evening at around 6:30pm, they visited his home and forced their way into the house only to find Akiza’s body hanging. He had used a rope to end his life.
Tugume however reveals that the deceased was addicted to marijuana and alcohol despite being a peaceful and good citizen.
He suspects the deceased could have committed suicide due to frustration since he was single and staying alone in his house.
