A 24-year old man has committed suicide by hanging in Muhorro town council Kagadi district over alleged family issues and failure to pay loans.
The deceased has been identified as Shalif Basobora,a resident of Muhorro central ward Muhorro town councilKagadi district.
He committed suicide in rental house using a bed sheet and his body was discovered by residents in the morning hours.
According to the Chairperson lc1Muhorro central cell Omuhereza Tibesigwa omutaka said that the cause of the incident could have resulted from family issues and alleged failure to pay loans.
He says a fortnight ago Basobora (now deceased) took rat poison attempting to end his life but was rescued.
Omuhereza Tibesigwa asked the general public to always seek guidance from their relatives or leaders before committing such gruesome acts.

By press time, our efforts to get a police comment on the tragedy were futile.
However the body of the deceased was taken by relatives to the ancestral home in Nyanseke, Muhorro Sub County for burial arrangements.
This is the second suicide case committed in Muhorro town council in a week period.
On Saturday 30,Nov,2024, John Sunday 37 years a resident of Kijojo cell in Nyamiti ward,Muhorro town council also hanged self-dead over unknown reasons.
