The residents from the areas of Buyaga East constituency in Kagadi district are set to benefit from the government funded solar powered water supply project.
The Buyaga East MP Eric Musana whose position on the Natural Resources Committee of Parliament has earned his constituency the piped water project, says areas to benefit include Kihemba, Kamuroza, Kagadi S/County, Kyakahuku, Kyamasega, Nyabutanzi, Isunga,Kyanaisoke,Kiryanjagi,Kabamba among others.
MP Musana says that the project seeks to bring piped water to each household.
He commended the Government for responding to the cries of the people who are in urgent need of clean safe water.

The water project comes at a time a number of other areas in Buyaga East including; Kicucura, Kiryanga, Kyenzige and Kagadi town council, among others have been connected to affordable piped water supply.
On power infrastructure, the legislator unveils that more areas of Buyaga East constituency will be connected to the national grid under the Electricity Access Scale-up project supported by World Bank.
The areas to benefit from the program under the first phase include Muhangi, Kanyangoma, Kyomukama, Kyomunembe,Namiryango, Kichwanyindo, Kasokero, Kyeicumu, Nyabuhike among others all in Buyaga East constituency.
He says next month, officials from the ministry will harmonize with the project affected persons before the power connections launch slated for Dec,2025.
