The Kagadi district woman Member of Parliament Janepher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi says greater Mpeefu Sub-County like all other areas in the district has gained from her strategic leadership, citing the immense social services extended to the area.
The legislator made the remarks on Tuesday at the burial ceremony of late David Gubika-57 years in Kanyinya cell,Nyamukara ward Mpeefu ya Sande town council in Kagadi district.
Janepher says that greater Mpeefu was split into administrative units paving way for creation of Mpeefu ya Sande town council to extend services nearer to the people.
She also cited the construction of the girls’ dormitory at Mpeefu Seed Secondary school, enhanced electricity connections,water, health facilities, access roads and more services still in pipeline.
The Member of Parliament asked the residents in greater Mpeefu to use the developed infrastructure in their area to start up income generating projects and get out of poverty.

Janepher Mbabazi also condemned the numerous irregularities that marred the recent NRM primaries which prompted her to return to the race as an independent candidate.
She cites cases of violence, intimidation, voter bribery, inflating figures, participation of underage persons in the voting exercise, widespread multiple voting, among other irregularities that marred the electoral exercise.
Janepher who picked a symbol of a saucepan called on residents to vote her in the 2026 elections and emphasized that her next term will focus on building upon previous achievements.
