Kagadi District continues to operate without a substantive Speaker, and district executive committee one month after a leadership impasse emerged in the district council.
The Presidential Advisor and NRM Treasurer for Kagadi District, Patrick Zikanshagiza, also known as Zeedi, has urged councillors to embrace dialogue and consensus in resolving the standoff.
Speaking to Paradigm FM at his home in Nimilyango Cell, Kagadi Town Council, Zikanshagiza said cooperation and mutual understanding among leaders are essential for effective service delivery and the development of the district.
He further called on the rival parties to put the interests of the electorate first, saying leaders should focus on addressing the needs of the people and work together to form a government that promotes development in the district.
