Kibaale

The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) in Kibaale District has reaffirmed its commitment to run its activities smoothly, with a focus on promoting patriotism among young people and encouraging responsible leadership.

The pledge was made during a press conference held on Friday at PLU offices in Kikonge Cell, Masaza Ward, Kibaale Town Council.

The meeting was led by Chief Mobilizer Kyalikunda Junior Ebenezer, who told coordinators and journalists that PLU will continue expanding its programs to the grassroots level across the district.

He said the movement is committed to building patriotism and responsible citizenship, especially among the youth, to support national development.

PLU coordinators said their main focus is youth mobilization and civic education. They added that they plan to strengthen efforts to build patriotism among young people in both Kibaale Town Council and the wider district.

They also said PLU will carry out community dialogues, outreach programs, and training sessions to help young people understand their role in national development and avoid political manipulation.
