A total of 13 children have been baptised at Kagadi St.Luke’s COU Parish, Kagadi archdeaconry, Bunyoro Kitara diocese on Easter Monday.
Rev.Eric Irumba the vicar Kagadi St.Luke’s COU Parish who led the Easter Monday service asked parents to play their role in guiding their children to become responsible citizens and faithful Christians.
He further challenged Christians to fully surrender their lives and involve Jesus in their daily affairs to achieve true spiritual and personal progress.
Rev.Irumba calls for collaboration between biological and God parents in ensuring proper nurturing of the baptised children.
Wilson Kyamuhondeire,the head of laity St.Luke’s COU Kagadi parish ,asked parents to produce many children under nuclear families to ensure growth in Christian numbers.
He encouraged parents to take responsibility for their children’s growth and development in faith.
Meanwhile, Rogers Muganyizi, a parent expressed joy over the baptism of his child, Muganyizi Avil, pledging to raise the child in faith and contribute to the country’s development
