The Kagadi District woman Member of Parliament Hon. Jennipher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi joined mourners on 4th October 2025 to witness the send off of late Edisa Tumuhairwe in Kataremwa village, Nyakarongo Sub-County, Kagadi district.
The deceased Edisa Tumuhairwe has been a sister and co-wife to Evelyne Buhenzire the district female councilor for workers and a District Executive Committee (DEC) member in Kagadi district local government.
In her eulogy, Hon. Janepher Mbabazi described late Tumuhairwe as a woman of substance, exemplary and loving mother and asked mourners to emulate her character.
She asked couples to promote peace and love to establish stable families.
Evalyne Buhenzire eulogized the deceased as cooperative and loving sister whose intimate relationship led them marry one husband.
Their husband Deus Muhwezi says because of Edisa Tumuhairwe’s rare character, she recommended him to marry her sister and have had a peaceful family all together.
Late Edisa Tumuhairwe died at the age 59 and survived by seven children and 17 grand children.
