The Kagadi district woman Member of Parliament Janepher Kyomuhendo Mbabazi has urged residents to always stand in solidarity and offer compassionate support to the bereaved families, highlighting the increasing cost of conducting funerals.
Janepher made the passionate call on Wednesday at the send off of late Karoli Atuhairwe in Kiyaga Cell,Paacwa town council in Kagadi district.
She says organizing and funding funerals is increasingly becoming very expensive highlighting the need for material, financial, and emotional assistance to the bereaved families.

Politically, MP Janepher says will be on the ballot with a symbol of a saucepan as a sign of equal distribution of service delivery to all the people in Kagadi regardless of their religious and tribal backgrounds.
She unveiled reasons for standing as an independent candidate in the 2026 general elections, criticizing massive irregularities that marred the recent NRM primaries.

According to the 2025-26 Electoral Commission roadmap, nominations for Area Members of Parliament are scheduled for 22nd and 23rd October,2025.
Candidates are being urged to prepare the required documents for their nomination process.
